Michelle Adams, Owner
I started this firm because I have personally experienced what happens when a loved one fails to plan for their death or disability. I know that this is not necessarily a "dinner time" topic but we must take the steps to have these conversations so that family stress and drama are minimized in the long run. I enjoy working with people to help them come up with the best solutions for their situation and giving them a measure of comfort that they are prepared and have provided for their loved ones if something should happen to them.
A significant portion of my practice focuses on the needs of parents of minor children who want to ensure that they have put solid plans in place for the protection of their children. As a mom, I am acutely aware that if something were to happen to me, my family would be tremendously impacted. However, I know that one of the best gifts I can give them would be to take the simple steps of getting my plans in order.
In addition to my legal practice, I strongly believe in giving back to the community. I volunteer my time to several organizations including Denver CASA, Denver Great Kids Head Start, Denver Center for Crime Victims, Volunteers of America and the Denver Bar Association's School and Lawyers Committee.
Originally from New York City, I earned my B.A. in Administration of Justice from the Pennsylvania State University and my J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. For the past 17 years, my family and I have called Colorado home and we take advantage of all this great state has to offer!
